Lombardi has over 28 years of experience  in information technology.  His experience includes AI governance, machine learning, and operational efficiency strategies.

Before joining Patriot, he served as the Chief Information Officer at Marine Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville, North Carolina, where he focused on modernizing the information technology department through process automation and enhanced cybersecurity.  Before his work at Marine Federal Credit Union, Lombardi held leadership positions at Traditions Bank in York, PA., Penn National Gaming Inc., and the Pennsylvania House of Representatives.   

Lombardi earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Masters Degree (MBA) in Cybersecurity from Southern New Hampshire University.  He is also a graduate of the American Bankers Association Stonier Graduate School of Banking.  He enjoys serving as a certified dog trainer in his free time, reading, writing, playing golf and ice hockey.
