Oakland, MD – Jason Rush, President and Chief Executive Officer of First United Bank & Trust, is pleased to announce the appointment of A.J. Tasker as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Tasker joined First United in 2008 as a Network Administrator and has steadily advanced through the organization, serving as IT Manager beginning in 2015 and most recently as Managing Director in 2023. In his previous role, he oversaw information technology, project management, disaster recovery and business continuity, information security, facilities and physical security, as well as loan and deposit operations.
