USMH Announces 2026-2027 Scholarship Recipients
HAGERSTOWN, MD – The University System of Maryland at Hagerstown (USMH) is proud to announce its 2026-2027 scholarship recipients, recognizing deserving students whose dedication to higher education and academic success is helping shape the future of our community.
Through the generosity of individuals, businesses, community partners, and supporters, USMH provides scholarships that help reduce financial barriers and make higher education more accessible to students throughout the region.
Scholarships are an important part of USMH's commitment to expanding educational opportunities in Washington County and supporting students as they pursue degrees that prepare them for successful careers and meaningful contributions to the community.
"Every scholarship represents more than financial assistance. It represents an investment in a student's potential, future, and ability to achieve their educational goals," said Kim Eichelberger, USMH development coordinator. "We are incredibly grateful to our donors and community partners whose generosity makes these opportunities possible."
USMH recently celebrated its scholarship supporters and the impact of their generosity at its annual Wisdom Takes Flight Scholarship Dinner. The event brought together students, alumni, university partners, sponsors, and community leaders to celebrate the importance of higher education and raise funds for student scholarships. All proceeds from the event support USMH student scholarships.
For 21 years, USMH has served students in downtown Hagerstown, helping more than 3,200 students earn their degrees and awarding over $1.1 million in scholarships. These accomplishments reflect the continued commitment of USMH and its supporters to strengthening educational opportunities and workforce development throughout the region.
USMH congratulates all of its scholarship recipients and wishes them continued success in their academic journeys.
