Join the City of Hagerstown's Department of Community and Economic Development on Thursday, August 1 at 2:00pm for the Grand Opening of Vital Care of Hagerstown at 1185 Imperial Drive, Suite 101 in Hagerstown, Maryland.

The Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will begin at 2:45 - 3 pm.

Vital Care of Hagerstown is a Home Infusion & Specialty Pharmacy. Home Infusion pharmacies help patients manage medications that are given by the intravenous (IV) route.

Specialty pharmacies help patients and physicians manage complex disease states, and medications that are difficult to store and/or administer. Disease states that Vital Care helps to manage include, but are not limited to: MS and other neurological conditions, Crohn's and other GI conditions, Rheumatoid Arthritis and other autoimmune diseases to name a few.

Vital Care of Hagerstown's patients typically have serious conditions causing significant disability; the team proudly helps patents maintain or improve their quality of life.

Patients have the choice of receiving their treatment at home or in one of Vital Care's private infusion suites. The company employs skilled pharmacists and nurses to provide monitoring, education, and administration of patient medication.

Vital Care of Hagerstown was officially approved by the Maryland Board of Pharmacy in December of 2023. There are multiple reasons that Hagerstown was selected for a new location, including: proximity and convenient access to patients in Hagerstown, Frederick, Baltimore, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Hagerstown boasts advanced medical care and a strong workforce to draw from, and limited competition providing infusion services.

Vital Care of Hagerstown is an expansion. The company currently has two other locations providing similar services: Advance Care Pharmacy, located in Indiana, PA; and Vital Care Infusion Services, located in Gilbertsville, PA.
