New Agency Advocate Joins Ghost Writer LLC to Help Strengthen Communities

WAYNESBORO, Pa. — Jessica Cotten has joined professional fundraising counsel Ghost Writer as the company’s new agency advocate. In this role, Cotten serves as the primary contact point for nonprofits and other organizations and coordinates projects for clients across Ghost Writer’s team of writers, editors, and designers.

Prior to joining Ghost Writer, Cotten worked in a wide array of industries. “I’ve had the opportunity to take on varied roles over the years, from running a cybersecurity program, to teaching ESOL, to serving as a creative director,” she says. “These experiences honed my skills in managing multiple projects at a time, crafting brand-aligned communication strategies, and ensuring successful program and event launches—skills I now apply to grant writing, coordinating grant initiatives, and client advocacy.”

Cotten noted her appreciation for Ghost Writer’s clients and the company’s mission. “Our clients are doing amazing work on the ground to improve people’s lives through the arts, healthcare, land stewardship, animal rescue, fostering community, and so much more,” she says. “Ghost Writer is focused on changing perceptions and approaches to social issues, and I love being able to see that happen in our work with our clients.”

“Jessica elevates Ghost Writer with her relational skills and her passion for effectively managing projects,” says Kirsten Hubbard, founder and CEO of Ghost Writer. “Her gifts in collaboration and communication are critical to the success of our clients, uplifting the community.”
