Congratulations to Good Libations on the Grand Opening of their boutique alcohol-free bottle shop in downtown Hagerstown! Good Libations offers a curated collection of non-alcoholic beverages, games, garnishes, and more at the store located at 37 S. Potomac Street. 

Business owner, Diane De Laet, has opened Western Maryland’s only alcohol-free bottle and beverage boutique to fill a niche that Hagerstown was missing. At today’s grand opening, guests had the pleasure of sampling seltzers, mixed drinks, mocktails and more carefully crafted by De Laet’s daughter, Gwendolyn, her partner in the operation. Each month the store offers a gift basket give-away which customers are entered to win upon making a purchase. To accompany the beverages, shoppers will find a variety of fun board and table games, specialty garnishes including dried fruits, cocktail rimmers, and edible glitter, glasses and special touches to turn the fun up a notch. 

Honored presenters of special recognition today included Hagerstown’s Mayor and City Councilmembers, Washington County government’s Department of Business and Economic Development, the Washington County Chamber of Commerce, and representatives from the office of Congresswoman April McClain Delaney. Also present were a representative from the office of U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, and many enthusiastic members of the public eager to explore the variety of selection in the new boutique bottle shop. 

Good Libations will also be hosting intimate-sized events in the recreation space in the back of the shop including paint and sips, game nights, tasting events, and private party rentals. The winner of January’s gift basket was selected at the conclusion of the event: congratulations to Kirill Berrios on winning the delicious and delightful prize basket!! Good Libations is a welcome addition to the downtown Hagerstown business community, and a great place to go for healthy fun good-tasting, as well as good-for-you libations!
