Amanda is excited to oversee Brethren’s financial reporting and regulatory compliance, while also contributing to budgeting and long-term financial planning. She also looks forward to building relationships with the Company’s reinsurers and rating agencies.

Prior to joining Brethren Mutual in August 2021, Amanda was employed as an Audit Supervisor for Buffamante Whipple Buttafaro, PC (Jamestown, NY) with Brethren being one of her favorite audit clients. 

A 2016 graduate of State University of New York at Fredonia, Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a dual major in Public Accounting and Business Finance. She earned her Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license through New York State in 2018. She also holds the Associate in Insurance Accounting and Finance (AIAF) and Associate in Regulation and Compliance (ARC) professional designations. 

Established in 1897, Brethren Mutual Insurance Company is headquartered in Hagerstown, Maryland and writes personal, commercial and farm business in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Delaware, and the District of Columbia through independent insurance agents.
