Chef Carolyne's Bio:
Carolyne Crosby is owner of a Maryland based company C and C Catering Creations LLC DBA Harambee54. As a certified chef, she received her degree in Culinary Art Science at Stratford University.
Ms. Crosby created Harambee54 to provide unique cultural and educational experiences. Harambee54 is creating togetherness one meal and interactive experience at a time.
Harambee54 in Swahili means Pulling together 54 African Countries.
"Our goal is to offer a catered collaboration in Food, Art, Rhythm, and Fashion." The recipes prepared are inspired by the owner's life experiences and her father's love for cooking.
Harambee54 dishes are produced with locally sourced ingredients, the company's most popular items are the Samosas, which are inspired by Kenya's coastal region.
All food is currently produced out of Mama's Biscuits Culinary Incubator on Hagerstown Community College's Campus.
