Coffee & Connections

Wednesday, June 28, 2023 (8:00 AM - 9:00 AM) (EDT)

Description

Start your day with a little morning networking at the Chamber of Commerce office! Our popular morning mixers offer the opportunity to hear about some exciting Chamber happenings. Connect with fellow members, and touch base on ways you can benefit from your membership!

At Coffee and Connections, we celebrate Chamber members in a variety of ways! Several times out of the year, we select a Chamber member to speak about what their company does. We also have refreshments provided monthly! Lastly, we feature work from artists affiliated with the Washington County Arts Council for you to view at the mixer. Join us in the F&M Trust Training Room at the Chamber.

Read about what this month's mixer will have in store for you!

Mark Youngblood will have his work displayed at the mixer this month.

About Mark:

Mark’s started with a high school graduation gift of a camera. He had every intention of going to college to study engineering, but his new camera gave him a new passion. Changing his major to Art, Mark studied at Shepherd University with a focus in Photography. After college, Mark worked for various publications as a freelance or staff photographer, following dirt track racing and NASCAR, until opening his own studio full time.

As a photography teacher at Barbara Ingram School for the Arts since its opening, Mark shares his love and knowledge of photography. Mark loves teaching his students to use film and to process their own photos. Watching them create their own art is the true gift.

Mark decided early on he wanted to stand out from the rest and wants the same for you; your pictures – your way!

We are featuring an Incubator tenant from the Mama's Biscuits Culinary Incubator at HCC! This month's featured tenant is General Warfield's Coffee

Born out of an obsession to source divine 100% arabica coffee and a burning desire to create a more sustainable environment, John and Onome Warfield (co-founders) set about their mission of bringing General Warfield’s Coffee to life while on a trip to East Africa in January 2020. Bound by love, but separated by borders and a pandemic, there have been many challenges to overcome, but nothing would get in the way of General Warfield’s Coffee eventually finding its way to you.

Bold, passionate, refined, and delicate – General Warfield’s Coffee packs sumptuous flavors, heavenly aromas, and heartfelt feelings into every 12oz pouch. We pour our heart, soul, and love into producing the most divine-tasting, low acid, specialty grade coffees, ensuring consistent quality enabling you to sit back, relax, and enjoy every savory sip.
