A morning event where chamber members are selected to speak about their organization along with an incubator chef with samples, and surrounded by art by local artists affiliated with the Washington County Arts Council.

Meet the Speaker: Gita Kali Natarajan, Bhakti Spirit

Gita Kali Natarajan is a dedicated healer adn teacher with a lifelong passion for service. She is Founder and Director of theNon-Profit Bhakti Spirit, a Yoga, Acupuncture, and Wellness Center created to Heal, Connect, and Live from the Heart. From her early volunteer work, to earning degrees in social work and acupuncture, her journey has been guided by a desire to uplift others. A personal health crisis with Lyme disease in her twenties deepened her connection to yoga, inspiring her to explore ancient practices and study with revered gurus in India and the U.S.

With 24 years of yoga teaching, 13 years of leading kertan, and expertise a a Reiki Master, Hindu priest, and licenced acupuncturist, Gita integrates diverse healing modalities to create personalized pathways for personal growth and connection to Spirit. She has worked with a wide range of individuals, from children with special needs, to professional athletes. She also has founded BE yoga yurt, the DC Kirtan Fest, and has served in various ashrams, always finding ways to build community and serve others. Her greatest passion in service has been raising money and awareness for girls rescued from trafficking in Kolkata, India. This is a big part of her mission at Bhakti Spirit.
