As the Founder and CEO of Glow Up Consulting, she has guided numerous startups, small businesses, and entrepreneurs through critical stages of launching, scaling, and securing funding. Her expertise in strategic planning, investor relations, organizational design, operational efficiency, and leadership development is especially impactful when it comes to helping female founders and startup leaders navigate the complexities of building successful businesses.
As a fractional CEO and COO, and strategic advisor, she has amplified the results of over 20 high-growth tech startups by securing funding ($156M to date), turning chaos to clarity, designing and driving strategy, building high-performing teams, optimizing processes, improving engagement, and enhancing profitability.
Laurie is dedicated to elevating entrepreneurs by leveraging her vast experience in business and the startup ecosystem. She helps them navigate the often-challenging journey from ideation to scale. Her passion for the inequity of female founders in obtaining funding led to this book for female founders, providing actionable insights and guidance on launching, funding, and scaling startups confidently and successfully. Her goal is to make Startup simple for her clients, allowing them to work on their business, not in their business.
She holds a B.S. in Business Management and Marketing, an Executive Leadership Certification, and an MBA.
