Boost your efficiency with this lunchtime interactive seminar on the innovative role of technology in your next project.


Attendees can look forward to these key points: 

1. Introduction & Goal Setting (10 min)

- Brief introduction & seminar objectives
- Quick audience poll: Biggest challenges in project management & productivity
- Explain that the session will focus on interactive application

2. Identifying Daily Work Challenges (15 min)

- Group discussion: Common challenges (write on whiteboard/digital board)
- Categorize into key areas:
- Time management
- Task prioritization
- Communication gaps
- Project tracking
- Interruptions & distractions
- Lack of clear goals

3. Interactive Framework Development (40 min)

- Breakout Activity: Groups or individuals tackle assigned challenge categories
- Outline a simple process to improve that area
- Example prompts:
- How can you better track daily tasks?
- How can you streamline communication?
- What small habit changes could improve productivity?
- What tools can help reduce unnecessary interruptions?

- Kanban Board Exercise:
- Create a basic Kanban board with "To Do," "In Progress," and "Done"
- Move real or sample tasks through the board
- Discuss how to integrate Kanban into existing workflows

- Eisenhower Matrix Exercise:
- Categorize tasks into the 4 quadrants (Urgent/Important)
- Discuss how to apply this method daily
- Identify strategies to move away from urgent but unimportant tasks

- Group Sharing (10 min)
- Each group presents their plan
- Open discussion on refinements

4. Building a Personal Action Plan (20 min)

- Participants create their own project management & productivity plan:
- Identify one key area to improve
- Choose one new tool or method to implement
- Set a small, actionable goal for the next 30 days

- Pair & Share:
- Discuss action plans with a partner for accountability
- Commit to a follow-up check-in after 30 days

5. Closing & Q&A (5 min)

- Recap key takeaways
- Provide a simple project management & productivity checklist
- Encourage attendees to check in with their partner in 30 days
- Open floor for final questions
- Provide resources for continued learning (books, articles, tools)

**Attendees are encouraged to bring a laptop to this session, although it is not mandatory.**


About Kegan:

Kegan S. Brauning is the Chief Technical Officer at Streamline IT Solutions, a tech company based in Hagerstown, MD. With 8 years of experience in IT, he's become adept at fixing computer issues and keeping them secure from hackers. He started his journey in IT back in 2016 and has since honed his skills through hands-on experience and continuous learning.

 Kegan's skills cover a lot of ground. He's great at setting up and managing networks, making sure everyone can safely connect to the internet. He's also familiar with Microsoft systems and cloud services like Office 365 and Azure. Basically, if something went wrong with your computer, Kegan was the guy to call!

 Beyond work, Kegan helped out as a parent volunteer with the Young Marines and runs a dog rescue with his wife, finding homes for many dogs in need. He's a family man with two kids and a service dog who's always by his side. In his spare time, he enjoys tinkering with new gadgets and working on tech projects.

 Kegan's expertise and dedication have made him a valuable asset to Streamline IT Solutions and a respected leader in the tech community.
