About Kelsi:

Kelsi Waltemire Palmer, CXO (Chief EXperience Officer) of Kite & Anchor LOVES people. Ever since her very first job at 7 years old, working in her father’s restaurants, she has enjoyed talking with customers and understanding the dynamics of successful business operations.

As a Self-Proclaimed “Super Communicator” Kelsi has had many different roles professionally - working in marketing, sales, management & advertising (to name a few). After losing 2 positions in a matter of 5 years due to acquisitions & company restructuring, Kite & Anchor was established in September, 2018 to assist local businesses and nonprofits in navigating difficult business decisions & transitions of employment through coaching. When she isn’t working, Kelsi takes every opportunity possible to be outside. Choosing to Hike mountain trails & Bike the C&O Canal - play and coach softball, ride motorcycles with her husband Aaron (USMC OIF Veteran & Business Owner) AND spend time going on adventures with their niece and nephew.

Kelsi holds a BS in Communications from Shepherd University and believes in lifelong learning. After college, she earned her American Management Association Certificate in General Management, multiple Advertising & Marketing certifications and HRCI Professional in Human Resources (pHR). As a Washington County Native, Kelsi is passionate about her “Childfree by Choice” lifestyle. She enjoys sharing life experiences as an adjunct professor at MD Community Colleges, teaching Workforce Development, Supervision & Leadership, Human Resources and Customer Service courses. In addition to holding the role of Communications with her Church – Hub City Vineyard, a Big part of her time is spent Volunteering with nonprofit organizations & Supporting Veteran Causes. If she could do one thing the rest of her life, Kelsi would choose traveling to new destinations, and empowering others to Live their best life by following their passions!
