About Aaron & Amber:
Aaron J. Mowery, Sr. owns JDog Junk Removal & Hauling Hagerstown. He was born and raised in Hagerstown, Maryland and is a 2003 graduate of South Hagerstown High School. In March of 2009, Aaron left for Basic Combat Training for the U.S. Army in Fort Leonard Leonard Wood, Missouri. After completing Basic Training, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado where he would deploy with the 4th Infantry Division to Southern Iraq in support of Operation(s) Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn.
After his time in the military, Aaron moved back to the east coast, where he went to school full time at McCann School of Business and Technology in Carlisle, PA. In 2014, he graduated Cum Laude with 2 degrees in Business Administration as well as Hospitality Management. While enrolled in school, Aaron also met his wife, Amber. They married in May of 2015, and have 4 children (all boys).
In 2016, Aaron and Amber moved back to Washington County with hopes of being able to touch the lives of many in the area. Aaron worked at Fort Detrick as a Security Guard, while Amber worked in the financial field. In 2020, they found a franchise opportunity with JDog Junk Removal & Hauling on Facebook. After meeting the founder, Jerry, his wife Tracy, and their team at their headquarters in Philadelphia and learning the mission of JDog, they knew they found the opportunity to help many people in their local area. In October 2020, they started their business with JDog, and in April 2021, Aaron was able to walk away from his full time job with the Federal Government and be a full time business owner, able to spend more time with his wife and their children. Amber is the CFO for both JDog and The Overwatch, a second hand store focused on helping our veterans, community and environment.
