Join us to get to know Dr. James Klauber, President of Hagerstown Community College! You don’t want to miss this one, Dr. Klauber is well-known in our community and the college has catapulted into the business community under his direction. 

Dr. Jim Klauber is a native of Greenwood, S.C. He has a vast array of experiences, ranging from a position as a Second Lieutenant in the South Carolina Army National Guard, a seat on the Greenwood City Council, and a position as law clerk to South Carolina Governor Carroll A. Campbell, before being elected to the South Carolina House of Representatives, where he served for 10 years. He was a partner in the firm of Klauber & Long Attorneys at Law, and he eventually entered the field of higher education administration. A licensed private pilot and scuba diver, he likes to spend his spare time either a few thousand feet above the earth or 30 to 40 feet under water.
