Get ready to meet one of Hagerstown’s City Councilwomen, Shelley McIntire! This is sure to be an inspiring and dynamic conversation. Shelley is not only a key part of local government, she is also a multi-business owner. Shelley was appointed by the Mayor and City Council and began her term on December 19, 2017. She is the President and Owner of McIntire HVAC & Electric, a company that she and Bill McIntire, opened in 2010.

Shelley has a passion for making a difference in her community and believes in helping her community through action. Shelley currently serves on the Board of Directors at Brooke's House as their fundraising chairperson. She was a participant of Leadership Washington County and currently serves on their Board of Directors. Shelley also owns Alpine Plant Bar, opening soon in Hagerstown.

GenNext was created to benefit young professionals from the ages of 21 to 40. The group meets for professional development events, networking, volunteer initiatives, casual group outings, and more. Events are specifically structured to help young professionals advance in their communication, networking, and leadership skills. In addition, we strive for GenNext members to become advocates through community involvement in the Hagerstown-Washington County region.
